Planning Your Wedding
If you are planning to get married in Thailand, then you
have two options, a legal wedding which can be registered in your own
country or a blessing ceremony.
Getting together the official documentation for a legal
wedding in Thailand can be quite complicated and requires you to spend a
minimum of three days in Bangkok. We recommend, that if this is what you
would like to do, you book your wedding as a package through a tour
operator in your own country.
The package will include a facilitator to take you to the
necessary government offices and secure the correct documentation, before
you depart to the resort destination where your wedding will take
place.
Alternatively, you may choose to have a blessing ceremony
in Thailand and have the ‘legal wedding’ at a registry office, church or
temple in your own country before or after your visit to Thailand. If this
is the case, click here for details of our blessing
package .
